The Investigation
If any of you are on facebook please feel free to follow my page called Surviving Evil and Beyond.
So we talked about the investigators (Holt and Mayer) looking at me like I was crazy and talking out of my head. Once the investigators went to the house and saw the blood on the walls, the room they would label as the torture chamber, the baseball with brain matter on it and so much more they realized I was in my right mind. They knew they had walked into a horrifying situation. They were so kind and so amazing on my case. They did not find Josh at our house so they asked where I thought he would be and I said his brothers. So they staked out his brothers house and caught Josh and got my oldest daughter to safety. When they went in to arrest Josh he was cocky and arrogant and I'm sure thought he would be out of jail in no time and nothing would come of all this. Once I found out they had arrested him and gotten my oldest daughter away from him I was able to relax a little bit. The judge set his bond at $750,000 so he couldn't afford to get himself out.
One day about a week after his arrest I was in the hospital still and they came and said they were gonna be moving me to a locked room. They didn't say why just that it was for my safety. Two days later I found out that Josh had gotten out. His lawyer filed a writ of Habeus Corpus and got his bond lowered from $750,000 down to $100,000. So he only needed $10,000 to get out. He had his brother sell our truck and use the money to bond him out. They didn't tell me any of this because they knew I would panic. However they didn't have Josh's GPS tracker set right so he was able to drive to Tyler, Texas where I was in the hospital. He was stopped while he was circling the hospital I was in. He was re-arrested and his bond raised back up to $750,000. I had no doubts once I learned that he was in Tyler and circling the hospital I was in that he intended to finish the job. He knew that without me there would be no case. I was the only thing standing between him and freedom. Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler did an amazing job of protecting me and taking care of me. I am forever grateful.
God Bless and come back.
